Production Assembler USA

Our new facility in Indianapolis will have approximately 60 employees specialized in the manufacturing and worldwide distribution of ground power supply system, pre-conditioned air equipment and customer solutions in the field of airport equipment. As a specialist, we see ourselves as offering our customers system solutions that are environmentally friendly and at once optimize the profitability of a wide variety of work processes.

• Production Assembler

• Proper installation of mechanical components based on specifications, schematics and assembly drawings provided and as instructed by the engineering department
• Use of hand and power tools
• Troubleshoot, inspect proper configuration, rework, repair and testing as required
• Provide support to the Production Team Supervisor

• Study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, schematics, and parts lists 
• Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials required for the job
• Position parts and tools by using templates or reading measurements
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit
• Utilize hand held tools and other mechanical equipment
• Verify specifications by measuring completed product
• Resolve assembly issues or product defects by notifying supervisor
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
• Keep equipment operational by following manufacturer’s and departmental instructions, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, calling for repairs or repairing the equipment with supervisor’s approval
• Maintain safe and clean working environment according to OSHA and as instructed by the manager to comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Conserve resources by using appropriate time and energy on equipment and supplies to accomplish job results
• Document actions and issues by completing production or quality forms
• Contribute, support, and be a team player by accomplishing related tasks as needed

• 2+ years mechanical assembly experience required, 2+ years refrigeration assembly experience preferred
• Experience with fiberglass a plus
• Experience working in a fast paced, minimum supervision environment
• Recent graduates acceptable, but must be trainable and willing to learn
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and installation of refrigeration and heating systems
• Must be able to read basic and complexed diagrams, schematics, and/or diagrams
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Flexible for possible transfers due to demand of work
• Reading and interpreting schematics (drawings or diagrams)

• Basic understanding of bonding, torque, measurement tools and other assembly techniques

• Independent, but must be able to collaborate with team

• Must be able to communicate in English
